The first nanotechnology seminar, titled “Green Synthesis and Applications of Nanomaterials,” was organized by the Dhaka University Nanotechnology Center (DUNC) at the Center for Advanced Research in Sciences (CARS) on February 17, 2024.
The keynote lecture was delivered by Prof. N. B. Singh from the Department of Chemistry, School of Basic Sciences and Research (SBSR), Sharda University, India. He spoke about advances in the green synthesis of nanomaterials and their diverse applications. The interactive discussion that followed highlighted the growing role of nanotechnology in building a smarter and more sustainable future. The seminar was chaired by the founding Director of DUNC, Prof. Dr. Md. Abu Bin Hasan Susan.
