The inception ceremony of the Dhaka University Nanotechnology Centre (DUNC) was successfully held on October 19, 2023 at the Centre for Advanced Research in Sciences (CARS), University of Dhaka. The program marked a significant milestone in advancing nanoscience and nanotechnology research at the University of Dhaka. The ceremony was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman, Vice Chancellor, University of Dhaka, as the Chief Guest. The keynote address was delivered by Prof. Dr. Jamal Uddin, Professor, Coppin State University and Member of the Board of Directors of DUNC.
The program was chaired by Prof. Dr. Md. Abu Bin Hasan Susan, Director, DUNC aims to advance nanotechnology research at the University of Dhaka and strengthen Bangladesh’s presence in the global scientific community.
