Abstract

Objectives of the project 1. To synthesize nano-particles of selenium (Se) and zinc (Zn), 2. To characterize the synthesized selenium (Se) and zinc (Zn) nano-particles, 3. To formulate fish feed supplemented with selenium (Se) and zinc (Zn) nano-particles, and 4. To identify the effect of supplemented feed on growth parameters of pangas such as Weight gain (WG), Specific Growth Rate (SGR), Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR), and length-weight relationship. Expected outputs (A) Synthesized nano-particles of Selenium (Se) and Zinc (Zn), (B) Formulated fish feed that is supplemented with Se and ZnO nano-particles, (C) Identified effect of the supplemented feed on the growth performance, Specific growth Rate (SGR), Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) of pangas (Pangasianodon hypophthalmus) fish in Bangladesh.
